Finally...

I finally found my hobby! I have dabbled in many things (jewelery making, scrapbooking, baking, etc.) but I finally found the thing that I find enjoyable! Don't get me wrong...I still like to bake but you can't travel with it, you can't sit on your couch and watch a good movie while you're doing it, and the ingredients cost a lot!

So...how did I discover this hobby? Well, my sister is expecting and at the beginning of December I decided (for some reason) that I wanted to make her a baby blanket. My mom showed me how to start. You should have seen me, I was all thumbs! I got frustrated, she did the first two rows, and then I took over.

Now, the blanket didn't look perfect. It was loose the first few rows and then I dropped stitches so it looked funny! I pulled it all out, changed yarn and started over! As I worked on the blanket I got an idea to make a hat. So...I went on YouTube and found a video for hats! I made a hat for my niece on my husband's side.

Fast forward to today and I have made: 4 hats (including a doll baby hat!) and a blanket! I have a few other projects in the works, but I can't talk about them!

This blog is my chance to share my work. I'm not going to post patterns because I find all of mine online. So, instead I will post links and videos of patterns I find!
